Biography
Amy Murre is an instructor in the Humanities, Social Science, and Communication Department at MSOE. Ms. Murre joined MSOE in 2006 and teaches the writing/composition classes of the Freshman Studies sequence, as well as literature courses and Creative Thinking. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English from Cardinal Stritch University, her Master's degree in English literary studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and also completed further graduate studies at UWM. Her creative writing and poetry have been published in various literary journals and magazines. She also has extensive industry experience as an editor of business and professional writing
